season of sweet

sweet summer! we attended a rockin’ wedding on friday night, woke up saturday morning to welcome baby Harper Elizabeth into this world and rounded out the remainder of the weekend soaking up sun and swimming with “sisters” (*critch and biological) between Stillwater and the cities. the weekend was bursting with love for best friends, babies, family, and what i think is going to be one hot summer. bring on the sweetness!

*critch: (noun) sisters from another mister + mama; siblings you adore born to parents different from your own

cabin collection

Minneapolis has been experiencing perfect weather and it’s putting me in a cabin mood! All our friends already have homes in the Twin Cities … why not own a little getaway?!

winter flashlight

I thought it necessary to bring light into tonight since we officially have limited daylight. Rah for winter!!

1968

I visited the 1968 exhibit at the Minnesota History Museum and yes, it was groovy! I’d recommend it to anyone, especially if you remember 1968 or have had any fascination with the ’60’s. Be there or be square!

braids are back!

If you were a Pippi Longstalking fan, you’ll be pleased to know that braids are back in full swing! The braid-phenomenon sweeping this fall was covered on the Today Show this morning – always a good indicator of a trend taking the fashion industry by storm. If you don’t know how to braid your own hair, cruise on over to YouTube. There are tons of videos useful for self-teaching. Happy braiding!
